Recommended default
- Deposit required: yes
- Cancellation policy: 24–48 hours' notice
- No-show policy: deposit is non-refundable
How deposits work
- The client pays the deposit at booking
- The remaining balance is paid at checkout, or recorded as paid
How cancellations work
- A client can cancel on the website up to 48 hours before the appointment
- An admin can cancel and refund the deposit or the full payment at any time
What to write in your policy
Copy-ready:
- Deposit: "A deposit is required to secure your booking."
- Cancellation: "Cancellations within X hours may forfeit the deposit."
- No-show: "No-shows forfeit the deposit."
- Late arrival: "Late arrivals may shorten the service or require rescheduling."
