Create services and pricing
Build the service menu that bookings and invoices are priced from, including size, coat and breed-based options.
Time: 20–40 minutes for the initial setup
Goal
Your service menu must be created so bookings and invoices are accurate.
Steps
- Go to Services
- Click Add Service
- Enter:
- Service name (for example "Full Groom – Small Dog")
- Hair length type (optional)
- Pricing option name (optional)
- Weight (optional) — services are matched on weight
- Breed group (optional) — services are matched on breed
- Price
- Duration
- Description (optional)
- Save
- Repeat for every service
Recommended structure
Keep names simple and consistent:
- "Bath + Tidy – Small"
- "Full Groom – Medium"
- "Nail Trim"
Create a new category or service for anything you charge separately, such as a matting fee or a flea rinse.
Troubleshooting
- Wrong price on an invoice → confirm the service price in the Services list
- Too many services → start with your top 10–20 and expand later
